Earlier this month, Willamette Pedestrian Coalition kicked off Walktober - "three weeks of fun on foot in Portland." The WPC conceived Walktober to promote walking as a fun, healthy, ubiquitous activity in the Portland metro region. This is an open calendar, which means that anyone can create, post, and lead a walk. Walks are put on by people like you - check out the calendar and add your own walk. Drop us a line if you do - we'd love to join you! Upstream's own Transportation Policy Coordinator led a walk on October 7th, and it was heaps of fun!
