2016 Oregon School Garden Summit & Oregon Farm to School Summit

At the Oregon Garden, Silverton, Oregon The program will go from 9:30 - 5pm both days, with additional networking opportunities before and after.

Guests may attend either or both events.  Garden admission will be included in registration.

Deadlines

1.  Regular registration prices ended 1/17/16.
2.  Late registration closes 1/24/16.  

Lodging

On-site lodging is available at the Oregon Garden Lodge for $89+tax per night for Wednesday, Thursday, and/or Friday nights.  Lodging includes free access to a fitness center and hot tub, and hot breakfast for two.  There is also a spa on site. Many rooms have two queen beds.  Rates go up by $15 person per night, over two people.

3) Click on the GROUP LOGIN button
4) A new page will appear & you will prompted to enter a Group ID & a password. They are both SUMMIT
5) You will be directed to the reservations page which should indicate your group's special rates.
 
The Group Discount deadline is January 27th.

For those who want to share a room and need help finding a roommate, please contact Ken at Americorps@lanefood.org including your night(s) of stay and your roommate preferences.

An alternative for groups:
Cabins (maximum 6 people) are available for $40 per night at Silver Falls State Park, located 21 miles from the Oregon Garden.

Food

A healthy, hot, vegan, gluten-free lunch will be provided both days. Hot beverages and very light snacks will be provided both mornings.  If you would like a bigger breakfast, you can purchase a full hot breakfast buffet at the Garden View Restaurant at the Oregon Garden Resort for $8 per morning.  (If you stay at the lodge, breakfast is included for the following morning.)

There will be an evening gathering at the Fireside Lounge at the Oregon Garden Resort both evenings, for those who would like to continue your conversations, and those who are spending the night.  Food and beverages are available there for purchase.  

Carpooling

We encourage people to carpool to this event, to save money, carbon, and parking spaces, and to have more time to connect with peers and colleagues.  To find carpool buddies, click here.  Please indicate your *departure* times from home and from the Summits, and be careful about dates -- some people will stay overnight and others will be traveling there and back in one day.    

Refunds

Refunds, minus $5 for our processing fees, will be made by check for cancellations or changes requested on or before January 24th.  
No refunds will be issued for cancellations on or after January 25th, or for no-shows.
