The Oregon Nutrition Policy Alliance
The Oregon Nutrition Policy Association seeks to increase knowledge about how nutrition and physical activity affects their health and to promote policies that will create a healthier, more active Oregon.
Successes:
- Removed junk food from Oregon public schools in 2007
- Got calories posted on menus of fast food and chain restaurants in Multnomah County in 2008
- Got calories posted on menus of fast food and chain restaurants throughout Oregon in 2009
